Meet hotel Pastis: an attractive hotel with a limited amount of ten rooms, a very personal service and a pleasant atmosphere. The hotel opened its doors on July 1. It is situated in a tastefully transformed ancient building. Pastis is located in the “Sint Pieter” district, at the foot of the “St Pietersberg” (Saint Peter’s hill) and the fortress of Sint Pieter. This is distant enough from the bustle of the historic city centre but only a five minute walk from pulling up a chair at the bistro where it smells so good, burning a candle at the “Onze Lieve Vrouwe Basiliek” (Cathedral of Our Lady), having yourself done out of a couple of euros in one of the numerous bazaars or from throwing yourself in a chair on a pavement. If you’re rather into silence, green and panorama, then walk into the opposite direction. The top of the St Pietersberg is the starting point of an exceptional nature reserve.
